The 2-star smoke-free Hotel De Bordeaux Paris is situated nearly 5 minutes' walk from the Saint-Laurent church and offers a vending machine and a lift. Ideally located within a few blocks of the Saint-Pierre Market, which is a great place to shop, this Paris hotel provides 25 rooms.

mixed feelings about this stay

shabby room no socket

the location worked fine for my plans and was near a train station. the street had a bustling feel to it.

the room looked rather shabby, it really needs refurbishment. the coffee machine inside the room didn't had any socket nearby, so it was useless. the fridge was randomly unplugged in the middle of the room. it was very noisy at night because of the street outside, some sound proofing on the windows is needed, because the window didn't shut properly.

helpful staff great location

i found the staff were really helpful. the location worked for me. i slept well and the room was cleaned daily. i was happy to find a mini fridge, coffee machine, and hairdryer in the room. so charmed!

the radiator didn't work, so the room was chilly. i got an extra duvet, but it had stains and hair. not ideal.

I appreciated the proximity to both Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. The room included coffee and tea making facilities. I used them daily. The staff offered a generous number of towels, four were provided, ensuring I always had a fresh one. The cleanliness of the room was notable. It was tidied up efficiently each day.

The street noise was noticeable, even at night, so earplugs are useful.

great location kind staff clean room outdated bathroom lacking maintenance kitsch decor

The location is fantastic. It is close to everything! The team was very kind and always available to help with directions. I really appreciated that. The room was also clean. I found that very important.

The bathroom felt a bit outdated. There was some noticeable limescale, it really stood out. The maintenance seemed a bit lacking. A picture hung crooked, which bothered me. I found the overall decor to be somewhat kitschy. It needs refreshing!

helpful staff mini fridge handy location bleach smell dirty carpets slow hot water

The location was handy for getting around. i appreciated the mini fridge in the room. It was useful. the staff at reception were very helpful with directions though they seemed busy.

The bathroom had a strong bleach smell, i think it tried to mask another odor. the stair carpets looked dirty, and i almost tripped once. the hot water took a while to come through. It was a bit inconvenient.

shabby room unplugged fridge

The room was quite shabby. A refresh is necessary. The in-room facilities were rather pointless. There was a coffee machine without a nearby socket. a fridge just sitting unplugged in the middle of the room. it got REALLY noisy at night. I think some soundproofing on the windows is needed, since the window didn't even shut properly.
